Events like these, make my summer memories last long into the cold snow storms that are about to takeover our lives here on the East Coast. With my new home for my website up and running (finally) I have some new space to keep you in the loop with what's been happening in my daily life!
With a packed schedule (the unpredictable and random life of a freelancer), I free'd up an evening and headed to Newark to enjoy a cozy summer evening at Guard d' Avant Progressive Music Festival hosted by The Honors Program & the homie Peter Hadar.
I arrived at Military Park, camera in hand and ready to do what I do best, SHOOT! It was like walking into an empty gallery space, full of white walls and painting your life away. I saw families, beautiful women, children running around, dogs and couples laying on the lawn enjoying the sun setting and the heavy lovely vibes provided by OSHUN. I lapped around the park several times, captured candid moments, engaged in conversations with wonderful strangers and made some friends laugh and pose for a photo opp as well. (score)
